acceptable stay, but room issues

the guest house was a short walk to the city center, about 15 minutes. that was convenient.
the room had a strange smell when i returned in the evening. it smelled like sewerage. i had to open the windows, and it got very noisy with street traffic. the kettle had no plug nearby.

the location is a short walk to the river front. it is also a short walk to the train and bus station. the breakfast offered a decent choice.
the room i stayed in had a bad smell of sewerage. the air conditioner pumped out hot air, so the room became hot. i had to open windows to cool the room, resulting in noise from traffic and people.
